/ »raya« ist eine durch Muskelkraft und Flossen angetriebene Katamaran Studie, welche als Mietmodell konzeptiert, zwei Personen umweltfreundliches Reisen und Schlafen auf Binnengewässern ermöglicht. Nach dem Anlegen an »lemna« einem aus frei erweiterbaren Pontons bestehendes Inselsystem betritt man einen mit Sanitäreanlagen, Koch- und Servicestation versehenen Campingplatz. Dieser kann ohne großen Eingriff in die Natur auf dem Wasserweg auf- um- und abgebaut sowie transportiert werden.

/»raya« is a pedal catamaran concept suitable for two persons allowing them to waterhike on inland waters. Besides of keeping vehicle movement emission-free, the muscle powe- red fin propulsion drive helps to keep physical impact on surrounding landscape on a slight level. Furthermore it is possible to camp aboard – the platform system can be easily transformed into a closed plane which serves as foundation for a compatible tent. The concept is based on the idea of hiring the boats. The modular, pontoon based floating island »lemna« is able to operate as a supporting structure transferring the ameneties offered by a conventional campsite on the water.
